New Item News Item is a text that informs the readers about newsworthy or important events of the day. jadi news item tu teks yang memberikan informasi tentang kejadian/peristiwa harian Teks ini mempunyai 4 struktur yaitu: 1. Headline  menjelaskan tentang judul berita  2. Main event  menjelaskan tentang inti berita/peristiwa. 3. Background event  menceritakan tentang latar belakang dari peristiwa tersebut. 4. source  menjelaskan bagian yang berisi sumber, pendapat, komentar dari kejadian tersebut. - Language Features 1.
