DESCRIPTIVE TEXT (2): GET TO KNOW GARBAGE
Identification:
Waste is the result of waste from food or drink. Waste is divided into 2 types: inorganic waste in the form of plastic, metal, cans and organic waste in the form of paper, cardboard, leaves, vegetables. Waste that has accumulated in every corner of the school will be collected to the SMKN 4 Semarang landfill located in the corner near the basketball court.
Description 1:
At SMK 4 Semarang, the trash cans for each type of waste are differentiated, but at SMK 4 Semarang, plastic waste dominates over paper and cardboard waste. I often see many school students putting organic waste into inorganic waste or vice versa. Plastic waste invites a lot of mosquitoes and flies which are not good for the health of the body.
Description 2:
I often hear
news about the garbage piling up in Indonesia. Almost all school residents
throw garbage not only one garbage but even more. The main one is plastic waste
in the form of food wrappers, drink wrappers and many more products
that use plastic.
Description 3:
Plastic waste includes inorganic type waste that is very difficult to decompose but this waste can be managed into handicrafts, flower vases, sofas from plastic bottles, and many more. Waste from cardboard and also paper is easier to decompose than plastic waste. Plastic waste that accumulates can cause a very pungent odor.
Conclusion:
All school
residents of SMK N 4 Semarang should be more careful in sorting waste to check
it first so that food scraps or leftover drinks in plastic packaging can be
separated. Reduce the use of plastic in life with other alternatives using
lunch boxes and also bringing bottles from home.
